White Greenhouse Insect-Proof Netting — Whole Roll, Spliceable, 14-120 Mesh
Insect netting fails in two ways: the mesh is too coarse to stop the pest you actually have, or too fine and the crop cooks under it. This white HDPE netting spans 14 to 120 mesh precisely so you can match the barrier to the pest — coarse enough for birds and hail at one end, fine enough for thrips at the other — and it comes whole-roll, so large tunnels and greenhouse blocks are covered without a patchwork of seams.
Match the Mesh to the Pest
- 14–30 mesh — birds, hail, grasshoppers and large beetles; high airflow and minimal temperature rise, for structures where pest pressure is modest
- 40–60 mesh — whitefly, aphids and cabbage moths; the standard vegetable-tunnel band, balancing exclusion against ventilation
- 80–120 mesh — thrips and leafminers; near-total small-insect exclusion, but expect less air movement, so use it only where ventilation is managed
- White transmits light — high light transmission keeps crops growing at full speed, unlike dense shading nets that quietly cost yield
- Virgin HDPE, UV-stabilised — 5–7 years of outdoor life; recycled material embrittles and splits far sooner, which is false economy on a greenhouse roof

The Ventilation Trade-Off Nobody Mentions
Finer mesh excludes more insects and blocks more airflow — the two go together. In hot climates a 120-mesh roof can push internal temperatures several degrees above ambient, slowing growth more than the pests would have. Practical rules our grower buyers use:
- Hot, humid regions — prefer 40–60 mesh on side walls and coarse mesh or opening vents on the roof; keep fine mesh for high-value crops
- Cooler climates — finer mesh is safer because overheating is less of a risk
- Whole rolls cut waste — order full-roll widths (2–12 m) and splice on site; you cover the exact footprint and keep spare netting for repairs
Send us your tunnel dimensions, climate and main pest species and we will recommend the mesh count and roll plan before you commit to a container.
