Greenhouse Splicing Insect Net Cover — Model 002 Thickened Full-Specification (Vegetables & Fruit)
Greenhouse tunnels rarely match roll widths, and that mismatch is where insect netting fails: a 6 m arch covered with three 2 m panels is only as good as the seams between them. Model 002 is a thickened HDPE net built for splicing — panels join edge-to-edge so standard rolls cover any arch width.
Built to Be Seamed
- Thickened monofilament — seams take the highest tension on a covered tunnel; heavier twine holds the overlap without tearing at the stitch line
- Full-specification splicing — standard panels join into 4 m, 6 m or 8 m+ coverage
- UV-stabilized HDPE — stays supple a full season; folds do not crack like unstabilized film
- Dense weave — blocks aphids, whiteflies and fruit flies that slip through seam gaps
- Rope-and-clip install — reinforced edge threads over hoops; no specialist tools

Seam Placement Matters More Than You Think
A spliced cover protects only as well as its weakest seam:
- Run seams along the ridge, not the sides — side seams take wind load and pull apart
- Overlap, never butt-join — a 10 cm overlap gives fastenings something to bite
- Set the net before the crop flowers — re-fitting after fruit set is expensive
For non-standard hoops or long tunnels, send the arch width and ridge height — we pre-cut the panels.
